By following the Swapclub
Swap System all our members
have their points protected should something untoward happen. If you don't receive
an item that you have asked for, your points are refunded. Similarly, when
you send out an item, as long as you have a postage receipt or tracking number
to show proof of postage, then
you'll still get your credits even if the item goes
missing.
Let's take a closer look at some
scenarios.
Lost or missing post is not a common occurrence
but you will see that you are protected in all scenarios
no matter what part you play. Our examples use Joe
who has requested an item, and Ann who listed the item.
Scenario 1 : A successful transaction
(the most common outcome)
- Joe requests an item from Ann.
- Ann posts the item.
- Joe receives the item and confirms the delivery.
- Ann receives credit points into
her account and Joe has the same number of points
debited on his account.
- Joe and Ann leave positive feedback
about the swap.
Scenario 2 : Item is not received
by Joe
- Joe requests an item from Ann.
- Joe doesn't receive the item.
- Joe gets his points refunded when he activates "Not received".
- Because Ann has a valid postage receipt then she still
receives her credits. If Ann didn't provide a receipt then
she wouldn't get her credit points.
Scenario 3 : Joe doesn't confirm delivery
or non delivery
- Joe requests an item from Ann.
- Joe forgets to confirm delivery or non delivery.
- Swapclub has various time out scenarios
so Ann will still get her credit points for the item and
Joe has his debits confirmed after 30 days.
Scenario 4 : Ann doesn't post the item
- See Scenario 2 (Joe doesn't get item).
Scenario 5 : Joe or Ann do not carry out
their responsibilities
- Swapclub has various time out scenarios
so even if Joe or Ann forgets or neglects their responsibilities,
the other person is still protected.
Scenario 6 : Any other dispute
or problem
- Joe or Ann does not agree with the outcome
of a swap.
- They can report the swap with details to
Swapclub.
- Swapclub will investigate and make
adjustments at their discretion.
- Swapclub reserves the right to ask for
proof of postage for any current or future swaps you may
be part of.
