Swap period:
A total of 30
days is allowed from the swap start to the swap
end. This allows sufficient time for packing and
posting, transit of item and receiving the item
at the other end.
Time out date:
If members do not confirm actions
at the Swapclub website then we assume the swap
is complete after the Time out date. Debits and credits
are confirmed at this time. This happens 30 days
from the start of a swap.
Postage cut off date:
This is the last date you
can confirm postage of an item requested from you.
You must have confirmed postage and hold a valid
postage receipt or tracking record to protect your
points. You have 14 days to confirm postage from
the start of a swap.
Completed swaps:
This shows swaps that have been
successfully completed. These include swaps that
have been received or gone past the Time out date
(see above).
Incomplete swaps:
This shows swaps that have not
been complete because the item has not been received.
Item received button:
Press this button when you
have received an item you requested. The swap is
now complete and debits and credits are confirmed.
Not received button:
This
button is only active in the last week of the swap
period and should be activated if an item hasn’t
been received by this time. Points are refunded
if members have followed the Swapclub procedures.
Credit / Points value:
This
is the number of points you will have to redeem
when you want an item. Similarly this is the number
of points you will receive when an item you’ve
listed is requested from you. A default value is
shown for each category. You can reduce this number
if the item is in poor condition or has low appeal.
The points do not represent money but the Swapclub system allows you to earn more points for
higher value items.
